Moriah Pickard joined Blitman & King LLP in 2021, having previously worked on the legislative team of a New York State Senator.
As a paralegal for Blitman & King LLP, Moriah assists in providing various services for the firm’s employee benefits plans by assisting clients with day-to-day administrative matters of employee benefit plans, as well as drafting operational documents such as summary plan descriptions and trust agreements, service provider agreements, and amendments to various agreements in accordance with state and federal guidance.
In addition to assisting in various administrative matters for employee benefit plan clients, Moriah has provided support in responses to inquiries from the United States Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service, and filings and applications with the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, New York State Attorney General, and New York Department of State.
